Cicadas and Chickpeas    Rice:
1 Cup brown rice
2 Cup water

Mix together and cook for 45-60 min as if you are cooking regular rice.

Sauce:
½ onion
¼ – ½ C blanched, teneral cicadas
1 15-oz can chickpeas
1 6-oz can tomato paste
2 T curry powder
2 T raisins
water as needed

Chop the onion, then the onion pieces are beginning to turn translucent, add the cicadas and continue cooking until the onion is translucent. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook, covered, over low heat 15 to 30 min, stirring occasionally.
